Why pay into Polytech Marseille?
Your company is making the right choice by paying tax and trusting us!
Excellence and responsibility
- our CTI-accredited training courses are recognized by the companies that hire them: we've been training specialized engineers at university for over 30 years with modest tuition fees (601 euros / year), but our need for teaching materials is great!
- the school's scientific environment is first-rate, with the support of 18 cutting-edge research laboratories that feed into our teaching.
- we value the development of soft skills acquired through student associative life.
- student-engineers sign a charter of good conduct on their arrival at the school which aims to facilitate good living together.
Equal opportunities
- Polytech Marseille is committed to equality of opportunity: it promotes engineering studies and helps disadvantaged groups to access scientific studies, and is proud of its "Cordées de la réussite" label.
- with work-study programs in our engineering courses, we are accelerating the social elevator for young people with potential (7 work-study students in 2017 - 125 in 2023) in a job market that is under pressure for engineering profiles.
- we welcome over 30% of scholarship holders.
Diversity
- our engineering students have a wide range of backgrounds when they join our school: Polytech integrated preparatory cycle, high school preparatory classes, IUT, science faculties, foreign courses, etc. This diversity makes for a richer class.
- 32% of our engineering studentsare women, and we benefit from Aix-Marseille University's gender equality and anti-discrimination initiatives.
- we offer adapted study conditions for students with disabilities, thanks to Aix-Marseille Université's Mission Handicap .
Commitment to ecological transition
- As part of our school strategy, we aim to raise students' awareness of social responsibility and prepare them to become active players in the ecological transition , with an ever-increasing emphasis on these themes in our teaching (8% dedicated teaching, 20% directly related teaching, climate fresco created by all students). Like other Polytech schools, we have signed an SDRS charter highlighting our determination to train responsible engineers and citizens, capable of building their ways of thinking and acting in line with ecological issues.
- we take care to integrate ecology into everyday life: selective sorting, photovoltaic platforms, energy efficiency measurements for buildings, a climate fresco for Polytech staff, etc., and we also benefit from all Aix-Marseille University initiatives in favor of sustainable development.
- Finally, we offer an original program to train eco-engineers (Bac + 6): the Specialized Master's degree in Circular Economy and Sustainable Organization (CGE accredited), available in traditional, sandwich or continuing education formats.
To take things a step further, in September 2025 we will be opening a specialization in "industrial ecology and the environment", which will train experts in decarbonization, profiles that are increasingly sought after by companies.
Procedures and timetable in 3 steps :
- DECLARE your 2023 apprenticeship taxbalance of 0.09% of your 2022 gross payroll to URSSAF, via the Déclaration Sociale Nominative (DSN) in April 2023.

Our use of the tax
Thanks to our tax resources, we invest in teaching equipment every year. These reinforce the professionalism of our courses: practical application is a priority in engineering schools, and requires equipment that can be very costly. The tax also finances presentations by professionals to our students, who thus benefit from the contribution of experts working for companies.
By paying us tax, you are playing an active role in the training of potential employees. In view of the examples of purchases made by the school with the tax, which are listed in the documents below, you can measure its importance for the daily lives of our students and for the quality of their environment.
