Specialized Master IHME Polytech

  • Target audience & Training requirements

    Post-Master's Program - IHME is aimed at students on initial training or professionalization contracts, as well as continuing education professionals:

    • Engineers (recent graduates or experienced professionals), from initial training courses specializing in mechanics, electronics, materials, IT, civil engineering, robotics, energy, applied mathematics, chemistry, biotechnology, biomedical...
    • Holders of a scientific university diploma such as a Master 2, DEA or DESS, or higher, a professional diploma at Bac + 5 level, or a foreign diploma equivalent to the above French diplomas, with the same variety of initial specializations.
    • Holders of a Bac + 4 (Master 1 or equivalent) with at least 3 years' proven professional experience.

  • Admission and timetable

    Application deadlines :

    • Session 1: May 10, 2023
    • Session 2: June 15, 2023
    • Session 3 (optional): August 1, 2023

    Application and processing fee: €70

    The application fee is compulsory and non-refundable.

    1 possible method of payment: bank transfer

    Your application will be processed on receipt of proof of transfer.

  • Registration fees

    Individual tuition fees are as follows:

    • Initial training: €3,300
    • Continuing education: €10,000
    • Work-study/professional contract: €10,000

    For employees on individual training leave, remuneration is paid by the organizations managing the training leave (FONGECIF...),

    For jobseekers, remuneration is paid by Pôle Emploi for recipients of the Allocation d'Aide au Retour à l'Emploi (ARE), or during a PPAE (Projet Personnalisé d'Accès à l'Emploi), which can lead to AREF (Allocation d'Aide au Retour à l'Emploi Formation), -...

    For companies belonging to the Polytech Marseille Partners' Club and the Faculty of Sports Science Partners' Club, a 10% discount will be applied.

    Alternance / Contrat de Professionnalisation / 2023 government aid for companies

    In view of its recent accreditation, the IHME Master's degree is not registered with the RNCP, but with the Répertoire Spécifique (a request is currently being formalized). It is covered by the Contrat Pro type 3. The 2023 government grant provided for in Decree no. 2022-1714 of December 29, 2022 is open to eligible diplomas, titles and certifications up to level 7 of the national framework of professional certifications. Grants are awarded for level 7 courses, but only up to Bac +5. As the IHME Master's degree is level 7 but Bac +6, it is not eligible.

  • Application form

    To apply for the Mastère Spécialisé® IHME, applications must be submitted exclusively online via E-candidat.

    ATTENTION: e-candidat platform opens on February 20, 2023

  • Foreign applicants

    Foreign candidates who hold an engineering degree, a Master's 2 or equivalent, or who are in the process of doing so, can apply for the training offered by the Post-Master - IHME program. They must have a sufficient level of French to follow the course in the right conditions.

    • Start of distance learning : Monday, September 25, 2023
    • Professionalization contracts will henceforth be : 1 week teaching / 1 week company
