Join Polytech Marseille in 1st year
Polytech Marseille recruits its future student-engineers according to the procedures of the Polytech Network. This selective joint recruitment by competitive examination gives access to the schools in the Network. Admission procedures are defined according to the candidate's previous studies. Several entry levels are possible.
Polytech Marseille is a 5-year engineering school (including 2 or 3 years of preparatory studies) open directly after the Baccalauréat.
The following are eligible to apply to Polytech Marseille:
- Terminale Générale students in a French lycée or AEFE-accredited lycée in 2022-2023
- Students with a Bac Général in 2022
- Students with a Bac STI2D or STL
- Students holding a foreign equivalent of the French Baccalauréat général
Admitted students enter the 1st year of the PeiP preparatory cycle, which runs for 2 or 3 years at Polytech Marseille's Saint Jérôme site.
They then go on to study engineering for 3 years in one of the specialties offered at Polytech Marseille, or in one of the 100 specialties offered by the 15 other schools in the Polytech network.
Please note that access to the Biological Engineering specialization is not available from the PeiPs offered by Polytech Marseille. Students interested in the Biological Engineering specialization at Polytech Marseille will have to take a PeiP B at another school in the network, and then return to Marseille for this specialization. It is offered at 5 Polytech schools: Angers, Clermont-Ferrand, Lille, Montpellier and Sorbonne.
